There is no cost. Jumpstart Evanston is entirely free of charge. All you need to do is attend!
There is currently no pre-registration required. All attendees will sign in at the orientation. The pitch day requires that you have attended all the workshops/classes and submit a qualifying business plan.
Yes, to qualify for the funding, you will be required to attend all 7 workshops/classes. Jumpstart Evanston is an education focused organization. The grant money is set aside specifically for participants in the program.
Yes, the only things that disqualify someone are –
- Previously received a Jumpstart Grant
- Did not attend all classes in the program year
- Not an Evanston, Wyoming business
- A business that has been established for longer than 3 years.
- Must locate their business in Evanston, Wyoming
- Plans may be submitted by individuals or teams (up to 3 members). A single individual cannot be the sole qualifying participant for two teams.
- Must attend all 7 classes and submit a viable business plan
- Business must be less than 3 years old.
