Why Sponsor Jumpstart Evanston?
Our seven-week business boot camp educates new businesses on writing a business plan, financial literacy, legal topics, marketing, and scaling. We work with local experts to educate participants on each subject. Established, area businesses “Pay it Forward” by providing each year’s seed money via sponsorships.
Jumpstart has funded nine new businesses in the past three years (2020-2022). We’ve given away nearly $30,000 in grant funding and provided free training to hundreds of Evanston Entrepreneurs.

Recognized as a Jumpstart Partner organization. Receives one Jumpstart premium embroidered outerwear item. An opportunity to nominate a judge for the 5 member judging panel for Pitch Day.

(Our sponsors are recognized across the community, via radio interviews, newspaper articles, City Council meetings, Facebook, Rotary Club, UCEDC, etc. Every penny that our sponsors donate to Jumpstart Evanston’s 501c3 non-profit goes toward our startup grant program. We have no paid positions and no overhead. Donation receipts are provided to each sponsor. Marketing campaigns begin in November and run through March 31st of the following year.)
